Born on the floor.
Loire began at The Guest House, a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona. Fourteen years of service taught its builder a simple truth: great hospitality runs on knowledge, and knowledge is usually the worst-kept system in the building.
From the founder
I built Loire because I was tired of watching great rooms run on guesswork. I have carried the binder, taped the cheat sheet to the well, and answered the same vintage question four different ways in one week. The people were never the problem. The water was.
Loire is the system I wished every restaurant I worked in had: one source of truth, tended by someone who knows the room, flowing to everyone who needs it.

Why "Loire"
Named for the way rivers work.
The Loire is the longest river in France. It rises in the highlands, gathers a thousand streams, and runs through some of the greatest wine country on earth before it reaches the sea. Sancerre, Vouvray, Chinon, Muscadet: the name already belongs to the world this platform serves.
We named the platform for the way rivers work. Everything downstream is fed by what happens upstream. You don't update a river; you tend the source, and the source moves through every channel it feeds. One approved record becomes the printed list, the training guide, the page a guest reads at the table. None of them can disagree, because none of them are copies. They're the same water.
Without a river, knowledge sits in disconnected pools: binders, PDFs, group texts, the veteran server's memory. Every update is friction: re-typing, re-printing, re-telling, and hoping. A river is one continuous body of water. Cohesion stops being an achievement and becomes the default state.
